Customer Management

Do you need easy access to your customer register from inside the configurator? Do you want to let your customers into the configurator?

If so, the new module COMBINUM Customer Management is something for you. The module makes COMBINUM complete in terms of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote).

With COMBINUM Customer Management you can manage customers, sites and contacts inside COMBINUM. When you make a quote you select a customer and all relevant data like price list, currency, delivery address and payment terms is pulled from the customer register.

If the logged in user in COMBINUM is a member of a customer organization the customer field is set automatically and made read-only. There is also a handy feature that can automatically restrict customer users from seeing other customer’s configurations without setup of rights.

Stertil-Koni goes live

The Dutch company Stertil-Koni has just gone live with COMBINUM for configuration of heavy duty vehicle lifts.

It was the introduction of the flexible DIAMONDLIFT that drove the need for guided selling as a sales tool. DIAMONDLIFT is a piston lift for heavy duty vehicles like buses and trucks.

The sales reps configures the lifts in a guided selection process. When it comes to dimensioning the frame an optimization algorithm automatically recommends the best frame dimensions based on minimum and maximum wheelbase of the vehicles that the lift is intended for.

Since the lifts are sold worldwide the system lets the user select metrics so that dimensions can be entered either in inches or millimeters and the same goes for the measurements on the generated drawing.

COMBINUM 2.7

The freshly released COMBINUM 2.7 comes packed with new functions and improvements.

Above you can read about customer management, but there are a lot more new possibilities and here are some more examples:

Upload file and attach them to a configuration
Render graphic in modes that can be turned on or off
Control for each value if it shall be hidden or disabled when not allowed
Select objects from drop down tree lists in Architect
