Wittur European Sales Tool
Wittur Group is a world leading solution provider for components, modules and systems for the elevator industry and is just about to go live with COMBINUM.
You can find their elevator components in the most iconic buildings in the world, including Apple Store in New York, the Empire State Building, the new Beijing National Stadium, the new Auditorium in Astana, Kazakhstan, and the Turning Torso in Malmo that, with its 190 meters, is the highest skyscraper in the Nordic countries.
The implementation of COMBINUM has been followed by the Italian reseller Pivotal Italia. It features not only a configurator but also an integrated customer relationship management system, Pivotal CRM. The complete solution goes under the name of WEST - Wittur European Sales Tool.
One of the challenges of this implementation is that the configurator is maintained by different Wittur production sites around Europe: door systems in Italy, electronic drives in Germany, lift cars in Turkey and complete lift systems in Spain.
Every production site updates, tests and releases changes in their product lines independently in the configurator without having to coordinate with the other sites. To solve this issue, the configurator data is replicated product by product from the development environment to the production environment.
All Wittur products manufactured in Europe are scheduled to be implemented and released in WEST during 2013.
